Expanding Our Reach
A New Campus in Highland
$6,000,000
In February 2025, the members of Calvary Baptist Church joined with us to start a new gospel ministry in the Highland area and generously donated their facility to Bethel Church. This building is on the busy Kennedy Ave., covers 5.5 acres, and has more than 24,000 sq ft, including a 400-seat auditorium.
Bethel’s Chinese congregation has been meeting in this facility since 2019. We plan to start a new English congregation here in early 2027. Before that, we need to do major remodeling, which started in January 2026.
Northwest Lake County is a diverse area. Bethel is dedicated to sharing the gospel with everyone, and we may also start a Spanish ministry at this site in the future. We are excited about what God will do through Bethel Church at this new location!
A New Campus for the Demotte, Hebron, and Wheatfield Communities
$10,800,000
Many Bethelonians live in these communities and often travel long distances to attend our Crown Point or Cedar Lake campuses.
We believe God is leading us to open a location in the southeastern area to make Bethel’s ministry more accessible for our members and to reach others in these communities who could benefit from a church like Bethel.
To make this happen, we need to build a new facility. Bethel is in the process of securing property for the new campus and has started early design work for the building. We believe this new location will be a vibrant place for gospel ministry for many years ahead!
The need is great and the time is now.
The establishment of two new campuses will effectively position Bethel Church to bring our ministries to significantly more people and more communities across NWI, including individuals and families from diverse cultures and backgrounds.
